What we store
Your name and email, the workspaces you belong to, the files you upload, the text and summaries taken from those files, and a history of actions in your workspace (who uploaded or deleted what, and when).
Where it's stored
Files are kept in private storage. They're never publicly linkable — the app hands your browser a short-lived link each time you open a document.
AI processing
To read and file a document, Vault sends that document's pages to our AI provider (Google Gemini, through Lovable's AI gateway) and stores the result. Only the document being read is sent. Your documents are not used to train AI models.
Sensitive numbers
Before a summary or title is saved, we hide social security numbers and payment card numbers, and account, routing and policy numbers. Business references such as invoice, order and tracking numbers stay visible so you can search for them.
Separation between accounts
Every workspace is walled off. Documents, activity and members of one workspace are never visible from another, and access is enforced by the database itself, not just the app.
Export and deletion
You can download any original file at any time and delete documents or a whole workspace. Deleting removes the stored files and their extracted text.
